WAIT - Why Am I Talking?
WAIT - What Aliveness Is There?
Waiting is active -
It is the deep space of pause between what has been and what is yet to be -
both a moment of true rest and
the risk of never beginning again.
To wait is to hold open and
to gather oneself in presence.
It is a state of unknowing and unthinking -
an emptiness so vast that stillness is all that can abide.
A stillness so full
It is alive.
With rhythmic beat
a breath to sustain
both a letting go and an allowing.
No judgement or fear,
thought or constraint.
from some distant and yet so intimate a place -
a movement from there to here,
from then to what now is.
